DAY 2 | FULL DAY MIRAFLORES LOCKS AND PANAMA CITY W/LUNCH
The tour begins at the Panama Canal, a magnificent engineering feat that was the greatest and most expensive human achievement of its time. After 30/40 minutes of travel, we will arrive at the Miraflores Locks Visitors Center, where you can observe ships up close as they move along the canal and learn about its operation.
At the Visitors Center, in addition to enjoying the passage of ships, you will have access to a cinema room where you can watch a film that will immerse you in the entire history of the canal. It’s a unique opportunity to broaden your understanding of this magnificent engineering feat and its historical impact.
Next, you will enjoy a panoramic tour of the Amador Causeway, which offers one of the most spectacular views of the city. Then, we will make a stop for lunch in the Old Town of Panama City, a place full of historical charm.
After a delicious meal, we will continue with a walking tour of the Old Town, the historic center of San Felipe. This place, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, will take you through its cobblestone streets, squares, and historic sites. Discover the fascinating blend of colonial, neoclassical, and French architecture as you explore iconic buildings, churches, and palaces.
DAY 3 | HALF DAY: SOBERANIA NATIONAL PARK & GATUN LAKE
Your adventure begins with a scenic transfer to Soberanía National Park, a protected area that’s part of the Panama Canal watershed. As you delve into the park’s lush rainforests and diverse ecosystems, you’ll have the opportunity to spot an incredible variety of wildlife, including colorful tropical birds, monkeys and exotic plants. Our experienced guides will lead you through the park’s trails, providing insights into the rich biodiversity and natural history of this incredible environment. After your immersive experience in Soberanía National Park, the tour continues to the magnificent Gatun Lake. This artificial lake, created as part of the Panama Canal, is surrounded by dense tropical rainforest and serves as a vital waterway for international trade. As you journey across Gatun Lake, you’ll be mesmerized by its serene waters and the chance to observe wildlife like crocodiles, monkeys and various bird species.

DAY 4 | PANAMA CITY → DAVID → BOQUETE
After breakfast, transfer (approx. 25 min) from your hotel to Albrook Airport for your Air Panama flight to David (approx. 1 hour).
Upon arrival, transfer (approx. 1 hour 15 min) from David Airport to Boquete, a picturesque mountain town. Check-in at Hotel Panamonte, Deluxe Room, with breakfast included.

DAY 5 | HALF DAY: PIPELINE TRAIL
We will pick you up at your hotel’s reception to start this excursion to the Pipeline Trail in the Bajo Mono Forest. The Pipeline Trail is one of the most popular short trails in Boquete. The majority of the path involves an easy ascent along a water pipeline. There are a couple of steep sections on the trail, and three bridges must be crossed along the way. The trail becomes picturesque as it nears the waterfall that marks the end of the route. Upon reaching the trail’s end, the roaring and cold waterfall consistently plunges from a height of about 40 meters. This is a perfect hike for older hikers or those without demanding physical conditions, very easy to walk. Additionally, there is the opportunity to see (if you’re lucky) the impressive Quetzal bird, as there is a viewpoint for this bird midway through the trail. A scenic hike ideal for enjoying the lush nature of the area.

DAY 6 | FULL DAY: BARÚ VOLCANO SUMMIT BY 4X4 JEEP
Enhance your adventure with the opportunity to enjoy the unique view of both oceans (Pacific and Caribbean on a clear day) and be part of the experience of being at the highest point of elevation in Panama at 3,475 meters above sea level. The path that takes us to the volcano is 13 km long to the top and returning by the same route. This tour offers you a more leisurely experience with a 4×4 car option: it takes approximately 2.5 hours to reach the top and another 2.5 hours on the return journey. You will get a hearty breakfast, refreshing water, and hot coffee, ensuring you are well prepared for this unforgettable journey.

DAY 7 | BOQUETE → CHIRIQUI GRANDE → ISLA COLÓN (BOCAS DEL TORO)
Private ground transfer (approx. 3 hours) from Boquete to Chiriquí Grande, followed by a shared boat ride (approx. 45–60 min) to Isla Colón.
Upon arrival, short transfer (approx. 10 min) from the Panabocas pier to your hotel. Check-in at Tropical Suite, King Ocean View Room, with breakfast included.

DAY 8 | FULL DAY: DOLPHIN BAY, ZAPATILLA ISLANDS & CORAL CAY (SIB)
Discover different shades and tones of the fascinating Bocas del Toro Archipelago with this daylong tour. It invites you to appreciate its beautiful beaches hidden within the lush vegetation of some of its islands; to come across groups of mangroves and its characteristic and flashy marine life; and to be amazed by attractive white-sand and crystalline-water atolls surrounded by barrier reefs. This is a true submarine paradise, ideal for diving and snorkeling. The tour will stop at Laguna de Bocatoritos where you will be able to watch (if you are lucky!) dolphins that dance around boats. Forthwith, you will visit Coral Cay. Here, you will be able to go snorkeling, and have regard for countless and varied color fish that hide among coral reefs. Later on, you will be able to relax at the attractive beach of Zapatilla Cays, two of the most beautiful islands of the archipelago, located within the boundaries of Isla Bastimentos National Marine Park. This area offers dreamy beaches, crystalline waters, and magnificent sea beds with splendid coral reefs full of fish including: the angel fish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, moray eel and jewfish, in addition to lobsters and crabs.

DAY 9 | HALF DAY: CACAO TOUR – FINCA OREBA (SIB)
Departing from the Bocas Town pier, this particular excursion will take you to visit the Oreba Farm, famous for its cocoa production in the native Ngäbe community of Rio Oeste. This tour will take you through the process of organic cocoa production cultivated under the tree shades, accompanied by a guide who will explain all the steps including cultivation, harvesting, fermentation, drying, roasting and finally making chocolate. The tour is conducted by a local Ngäbe guide, and includes an adventure hike through the dense forest to reach the cocoa farm, while the guide explains the process, and luckily you will see a variety of wildlife like frogs, sloths and birds. The highlight of the tour is local women teaching visitors the way they have been making chocolate for centuries. All these activities take place within the farm, in an open traditional ranch with palm-frond roof. This makes the demonstration of chocolate manufacturing even more special. The tour ends with a traditional Ngäbe meal based on fresh local ingredients such as vegetables, roots, rice and chicken.
