The tour starts at the neighbourhoods located at the foot of Ancón Hill – the highest point in the city – which belonged sometime to the so-called Canal Zone where U.S. army officers and officials lived in during the U.S. administration of the canal. The road is relatively steep, but once at the top there will be a brief stop for contemplating an incredible view of the capital showing on one hand skyscrapers, part of a modern and lively city, and on the other hand the little historic centre and its wonderful gulf.
